The development of the Toucan design was an exciting personal project that originated from a spontaneous moment of sketching various bird illustrations. Among them, the Toucan stood out and ignited a deeper exploration.


After several months, I revisited the Toucan design and was overwhelmed with a surge of ideas. I felt inspired to refine and elevate the design in multiple ways.



The final design was meticulously crafted with versatility in mind, making it suitable for both 1-color and Full Color applications across diverse mediums such as print, apparel, and the web. Additionally, I integrated a subtle nod to my fellow designers by incorporating a CMYK color scheme, symbolizing the printing process.


The sense of satisfaction I experienced upon completing the design was immense, prompting me to extend its presence beyond the digital realm. I transformed it into buttons, shirts, and stickers, providing others with tangible forms to enjoy and appreciate the Toucan design.
